What we can say with confidence
The specific narrative behind Pyramus and Thisbe has not been securely identified. Its inclusion in this collection is not enough to name a particular myth or character.
The exact narrative has not been reliably identified. We keep the artist and title visible, and leave the interpretation open rather than attach an invented myth.
Living with Pyramus and Thisbe
The portrait composition offers a vertical focal point. Consider a quieter wall beside a reading chair, or a space between windows where the artwork has room around its edges.
On the artwork page, compare three room settings, then choose an unframed poster, wooden framed poster, rolled canvas, or stretched canvas. Sizes are listed in centimetres and inches. The final crop depends on your chosen proportions, so check the preview before ordering.
